History of
The Grace Notes

Grace Notes is an all women community chorus that meets in Mansfield, Massachusetts weekly and performs at least two times per year in the local community. Grace Notes started as an adult voice class over the summer in 2018. However, when the class was finished, all of the women in the class wanted to sing together as well as, perform and work on their individual singing goals. We held a holiday concert that same year and are still going strong! That same holiday season, we sang at the Doolittle Home for the residents in Foxborough, MA and Willow Crossing in Mansfield. The Grace Notes' philosophy is grounded in the belief that it is important to give back to the community with our singing as well as, raising money for our local charities. In 2018, we sang in support of the women using the services of New Hope in Attleboro, MA. Part of the proceeds of that performance was donated to the charity so that they can continue the great work that they do aiding women who fall victim to domestic and sexual violence. We have also collected canned goods and raised funds for Our Daily Bread in Mansfield from 2019-2023. In 2023, we collected feminine hygiene products for Dignity Matters. We will continue to raise money for local charities at least once a year. We welcome ALL women's voices. We sing everything from, classical and musical theater to jazz and contemporary pieces.
Mission and Vision
Mission and Vision
Our Mission is a simple one. We want to do our part to offer high level singing as well as, offer all types of styles and genres of music, old and new, to the surrounding towns and communities. We believe in giving back to the community not only through the arts but also, by fundraising. and helping the people who reside in these areas who are in need. Music is our passion as well as, taking care of others.
